Gilt Chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari, 1970s

A wonderful and high quality gilded chandelier from Palwa designed by Gaetano Sciolari, Germany, 1970s. It is made of a 24-carat gold-plated brass frame decorated with individual "jewel" like crystals enclosed in individual brass circles. Large sized crystals. Great scale and exquisite detail. The lamp takes 15 x e14 small bulbs (max. 40 watts each). Compatible with the US/UK/European standards. The height is adjustable for a higher or lower ceiling. Very good original condition, wear consistent with age and use.
