A stunningly unique design, this upright grand piano is attributed to Johann Christian Schleip, Berlin, around 1825. It is case-veneered with mahogany, the upper part in the form of a large lyre with 7 wooden sides (lyre), cover and cheeks made of mahogany with decorative strings and keyboard.
